To better address current and potential future staffing shortages, as well as the impending loss of institutional knowledge, the commission should create a succession plan.

1-Year Agency Response

The commission has developed a draft succession plan and it stated that the succession plan will be updated upon completion of its strategic plan by the end of the year. (See 2013-406, p. 209)
