Recommendation #7 To: Teacher Credentialing, California Commission on

To comply with the law and reduce unnecessary workload, the division should continue to notify Justice of RAP sheets for individuals in whom the division is no longer interested, so Justice will no longer notify the division of criminal activity for these individuals.

6-Month Agency Response

The commission has continued to notify Justice of the RAP sheets it no longer is interested in receiving. The commission also stated it is developing an automated system that it expects to deploy by November 1, 2011, that will notify Justice on a daily basis of the RAP sheets the commission is no longer interested in receiving. (See 2012-406, p. 55)
