There are many ways to file a complaint.
- By mail:
You may file a complaint in the form of a letter to the State Auditor addressed as follows:

As an alternative, you may complete the electronic version of our complaint form, print it out, and return it by mail to the above address.
- By telephone:
You may call our Whistleblower Hotline at 1-800-952-5665 to file a complaint by talking to one of the State Auditor's employees. The hotline is generally staffed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Calls received when the hotline is not being staffed will be answered by a machine that records messages.

Although we do not accept complaints by e-mail, you may file a complaint online.
